Definition
Narrative text is a text that tells about something that is fictitious and only in the form of an essay from the author.
Narrative Text Structure
Orientation
Orientation is the opening paragraph of the text which introduces who the characters are involved in the incident (who) and the background time (when) and the background of the incident (where).
Complication
Consists of paragraphs that explain the beginning of the problem or the beginning of the story line that continues in the conflict, climax and anticlimax of a story.
Resolution
Resolution is the paragraph that becomes the ending story, which becomes the completion and becomes the end of a story.
Reorientation
Reorientation is the closing sentence which tells the final condition of the character in the story or the moral message of the story. This section is not mandatory for narrative text.

Be yourself, Frog
Orientation
Once upon a time, there was a frog who skilled at swimming but wanted to fly.
"I wanted to fly like the birds."
"I want to fly because I feel useless with my swimming," the Frog said.
"Birds can fly, but they cannot swim in the water," explained the Rabbit.
Complication
Suddenly, a terrible scream was heard. A sparrow fell into the pond. The frog jumped and swam to save the poor Sparrow.
"Thank you, Frog!" said the Sparrow.
Resolution
"Hey, you can help others with your skill!" said the Rabbit.
Reorientation
The frog felt happy to know that he was not useless.
